As we move through the summer, I thought I would just give y'all another update. Life moves along. No change with my Mums, or Bro. Went in boy mode to visit my sick Aunt.. wow was that fun times. Doing the dating thing with with the newish guy I met, that's been good.. still have my "connection" disorder... grrr.
I wake up and I'm happy. I cant help re-stating the fact that my general life satisfaction has been so markedly altered. I'm a happy person... wow, just seems crazy to me. After spending so long feeling mysteriously "not quite right". Now don't get me wrong I'm not walking around smiling all stupid, just sometimes in the privacy of my home- ha ha or when boys make the tummy fairies come out. I felt like its worth mentioning, kinda of a big deal to me, after struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts in the the past.
So I started my name change process, why I waited so long I'm not sure. It will be super awesome to have it all finished. I settled on a middle name too! It takes forever to get back the finger prints from the FBI and such. So, soon I will be able to stop the awkward explanations whenever I have to show my ID. and having to out myself with my bank or when I go to a bar. In Colorado, its pretty easy to have the DMV update your gender, as long as you can hand them a letter from your Doc. I cant wait!
